Grace Life Church is a community that is committed to serve and build up one other. God’s desire is that we would all consider how to stir one another up to love and good works, therefore he has given each Christian a gift or a variety of gifts to be used for this purpose. Our church is not served by the pastors alone, but by every single member working together to see each other grow. There are many ways that we can serve each other.
First, there are many informal opportunities to serve one other. By attending worship and small groups, we are able to speak God’s Word to each other and encourage each other to grow. We minister to each other by showing hospitality, caring for needs, praying, giving, taking meals, visiting, and evangelism. God wants the church to care for one other in all of these ways, not simply through the work of a select few. Therefore, we call for everyone to serve and minister to each other so that we all will grow in Christ.
But there are also many formal opportunities to serve the church. Set-up and tear-down, worship teams, greeting, nursery, and children’s ministry are all ways that members can serve during our Sunday gatherings. We hope that everyone will be devoted to both informal and formal service at our church.
If you are not currently involved in serving during our Sunday gathering, email us and find out how you can volunteer.
